Casa Vinicola Canella

The Canella winery was founded in 1947 by Italian Luciano Canella. He developed his interest in wines quite early: Luciano's parents were the owners of a small family restaurant near Venice and put him in charge of the wine list. Soon he became interested not only in wines of fine quality, but also in innovations concerning viticulture and wine bottling. 

Even in Luciano Canello's time, the image of the Canello brand was very important. Thus, the wines are bottled in specially designed bottles with unusual shapes and carry elegant labels.

Since the 1980s, Canella has specialized in sparkling wines and wine and fruit cocktails. With the introduction of the famous Bellini, the House of Canella celebrated great international success throughout Europe. in 1996, the family took over the renowned Deroà brand and was thus able to consolidate and further expand its position as a recognized wine producer. The winery, which is now run by Luciano's children Alessandra, Lorenzo, Nicoletta and Monica, now has its own peach orchards to control the quality of the fruit used in the Bellini.
