This dry red wine from Lunelli is just right for purists who like it absolutely dry. The Carapace Montefalco Sagrantino already comes quite close to this, it was vinified with just 1.6 grams of residual sugar. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Carapace Montefalco Sagrantino flatters with a soft mouthfeel, without lacking juicy liveliness. Vinification of the Lunelli Carapace Montefalco Sagrantino
This powerful red wine from Italy is made from the grape variety Sagrantino. After harvesting, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large wood at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
