The Cabernet Sauvignon Venezia from the wine growing region of Veneto presents itself in the glass in brilliant shimmering purple red. The bouquet of this Venetian red wine is captivating with notes of mulberry, blackcurrant, blackberry and blueberry. As we continue to explore the aromas, juniper, forest soil and Mediterranean herbs are added.
This red wine from Villa Sandi is for wine drinkers who like it absolutely dry. The Cabernet Sauvignon Venezia already comes quite close to this, as it was pressed with just 2 grams of residual sugar. On the tongue, this light-footed red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense texture. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Cabernet Sauvignon Venezia flatters with a soft feeling on the palate, without missing freshness. The finale of this mature red wine from the Veneto wine growing region finally captivates with a remarkable aftertaste.
Vinification of the Cabernet Sauvignon Venezia from Villa Sandi
This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Cabernet Sauvignon. Only immaculate grapes were harvested for this exceptionally elegant, varietal wine from Villa Sandi. After the manual harvest, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by a maturation on the fine yeast for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
