Di Lenardo's Cabernet IGT appears in the glass in a dark Bordeaux red with ruby glints. Here, this red wine cuvée unfolds the wonderful aromas of elderberries, roses and peppers with a delicate hint of bitter almonds.
This red wine enchants the palate with soft tannins, as well as a pleasant acidity and fruitiness. With age, this Cabernet becomes more intense and rich.
Vinification for the Cabernet IGT from Di Lenardo
This cuvée is made from equal parts of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
After hand harvesting, the grapes were destemmed and cold macerated and malolactically fermented for a period of about 10 days.
