Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of sand and slate. Once perfect physiological ripeness has been ensured, the grapes for the Brunello di Montalcino 1.5l Magnum are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of strenuous and barely selective machines. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wood and large wood at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the powerful Brunello di Montalcino 1.5l Magnum is aged for 18 months in French and Slavonian oak barriques.
