Borgo Molino - Family Winery in Veneto

The Borgo Molino winery is located in the small village of Roncadelle di Ormelle, in the Marca Trevigiana area in front of the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. The Nardin family is now the third generation to run the company, carrying on the legacy with courage, perseverance and strength. As in 1922, the year in which the winery was founded, the work of this winery is characterized above all by its vision: because it is only by looking to the future and also dreaming a little that it is possible to see how a winery will develop and how it can make its own way in an industry such as winemaking. This is exactly what Borgo Molino is doing.

In the past more by intuition, today by complete conviction, the makers of Borgo Molino wines know that an excellent wine comes from the special attention given to the soils. Then, as now, the work in the vineyards is focused on understanding the different soil characteristics and climatic peculiarities, as well as on meeting the needs of each vine to produce excellent fruit for even better wines. The result is great wines of a very special typicity - strong in character, well structured and powerful.

Sergio Nardin represents passion and experience in the use of the Glera grape of Prosecco. His son Paolo manages the production, Pietro coordinates the distribution. Molino der wines come from its own vineyards, currently about 150 hectares. The now ultra-modern winery works according to the aroma-preserving "Methodo Ganimede" process developed in Veneto. This tries to preserve the varietal typicity of each grape variety. The vineyards have a unique mineral composition of the terroir and by the exceptionally cool climate that prevails in the hills of the Marca Trevigiana.
