Beringer Vineyards has been growing grapes for more than 140 years.
Beringer Vineyards - simply the best comes together here
The story of one of California's premier wineries would begin in 1869 with the arrival of German brothers Jacob and Frederick Beringer in Napa Valley. Jacob and Frederick purchased a total of 215 acres of land and developed Napa Valley's first quality winery. To this day, the winery remains in the hands of the family. Since 2015, by great-great-grandson Mark Beringer. He is taking the art of winemaking that his ancestors brought to the region and expanding it with modern technology and a pioneering spirit.
One knows how to please the critics at Beringer Vineyards
Beringer V ineyards has already produced multiple award-winning red and white wines that carry and combine the outstanding strengths as well as the typical character of the region. The renowned Wine Spectator magazine has awarded Beringer Vineyards the "Wine of the Year" award for a white AND red wine as the only wine producer to date.
Fertile soils through volcanic rock at Beringer
The total vineyard area of Beringer Vineyards is an impressive 1200 hectares. A full 250 hectares of this is located in the Napa Valley, along the river of the same name. Parallel to the sea coast, the valley is flanked by imposing mountain ranges to the north and east. This favorable location gives rise to Mediterranean climatic influences and thus excellent characteristics for the cultivation of top Californian wines. Volcanic rocks located there produce a variety of soils, with those soils in the valley being particularly fertile.
Completely passionate
Prestigious grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Zinfandel thrive on these ideal conditions and, along with several others, are part of Beringer Vineyards' diverse varietal repertoire. The guiding principle of Beringer V ineyards is nothing less than to bring the perfection of the wine region into the bottle. This makes them unbeatable among Napa Valley wineries. Precision work, springing from German roots, and passion, combined with the diversity of the wine region, produce unsurpassable wines with depth.
Beringer Vineyards - Not only thinking about their own advantage
Beringer V ineyards produce their high quality wines sustainably and long before there was any talk about it, the family business was already intensively engaged in wine production in harmony with man, nature and animals. A truly exemplary winery with the finest wines.
