Beaurevoir Tavel AOC by M. Chapoutier, fruity with spicy notes, full-bodied and harmonious, from one of the most renowned growing areas for rosé.
The Beaurevoir Tavel AOC by M. Chapoutier shines wonderfully intensely ruby to raspberry pink in the glass. The bouquet unfolds fruity aromas of ripe red fruits, sour cherries and pomegranate, with spicy nuances in the background. On the palate, this southern French rosé reveals a full-bodied, fruity character, powerful flavours of red nuts, plenty of texture, round and harmonious right down to the long finish.
Vinification of the Beaurevoir Tavel by Chapoutier
The wine-growing region around the town of Tavel on the southern Rhone is one of the most sun-favoured regions in France. Only grape varieties for rosé wines are grown here. Already at the time of the popes and kings, up to Balzac and Brillat-Savarin, the rosé wines from Tavel have always been among the best in France and as ideal food companions. The climate here is continental with Mediterranean influences. The vines grow partly on sedimentary soils with pebble rock, partly on loamy soils.
For the Beaurevoir Tavel by M. Chapoutier, 100% Grenache grapes are harvested maturely, the traditional maceration takes between 24 and 36 hours, after which the juice is separated from the peels by drainage. The wine then matures in tanks and is not bottled until spring.
Food recommendations for the Beaurevoir Tavel by M. Chapoutier
This intense rosé from southern France is an ideal food companion. It goes with appetizers, salmon and tasty fish dishes as well as grilled poultry and light meat with or without aromatic sauces, Asian cuisine or summer salads.
