The Barbazul Tinto by Huerta de Albala from the Spanish wine region Tierra de Cadiz in Andalusia is a melting, powerful and finesse red wine cuvée vinified from the Tintilla de Rota, Syrah, Cabernet and Merlot grape varieties.
In the glass, this wine has an elegant, deep ruby red with purple highlights. The nose enjoys a small fireworks display of red, juicy fruits. Raspberries, red currants, heart cherries and some plum are revealed. The fruity aroma is perfectly accompanied by spicy notes. On the palate, this Spanish red wine convinces with an explosive power, which is underlined by a great density and melting texture. The finale completes this cuvée with a great, lasting reverberation.
Vinification of the Huerta de Albala Barbazul Tinto
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimum ripeness and immediately brought to the wine cellar of Huerta de Albala. There the grapes are destemmed manually. Thereafter, a long mashing life begins at approx. 24 - 28 °C. Once completed, this red wine is fermented in wooden barrels. Finally, this red wine cuvée is aged in French oak barriques for 5 months.
Food recommendation for the Barbazul Tinto by Huerta de Albala
