The Kesselring Auxerrois is a first-class organic white wine in the wine glass. In this it presents a wonderfully bright, golden yellow color. The nose of this white wine from the Palatinate region delights with nuances of apricot and mirabelle. If we trace the aromatics further, mineral notes are added.
Balanced and multifaceted, this silky white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, the Auxerrois flatters with a pleasing mouthfeel without lacking freshness. Vinification of the Auxerrois from Kesselring
This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Auxerrois. Only impeccable grape material was brought in for this wonderfully balanced single-varietal wine from Kesselring. After harvesting, the grapes are taken to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Auxerrois can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
Food recommendation for Kesselring Auxerrois
This German wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to potato pan with salmon, leek tortilla or vegetable stew with pesto.
