The Alois Lageder family winery is synonymous with the highest standards of quality in viticulture and winemaking, a sustainable, holistic business philosophy, and a wide range of cultural and artistic activities. Founded in 1823 and now run by Alois Lageder and Alois Clemens Lageder in the fifth and sixth generations, the winery combines tradition and innovation.

Alois Lageder's wine range represents the extraordinary diversity of the South Tyrol region and its wide range of grape varieties. The wines are made from grapes grown according to biodynamic principles in the Lageder family's approximately 50-hectare vineyards, as well as from grapes grown in the vineyards of long-standing winemaker partnerships. This close collaboration with contract winemakers from various areas of South Tyrol represents an essential part of the company's history. The sustainable approach to agriculture has also been extended to the winery's architecture. Bringing nature indoors" was the goal when building the new winery, which was inaugurated in 1995. The project was soon recognized as the harbinger of a boom in contemporary architecture in South Tyrol.
