In the glass, the Achkarrer Winzer Silvaner from the house Winzergenossenschaft Achkarren shows a brilliantly shimmering light yellow color. The light-footed Winzergenossenschaft Achkarren Winzer Silvaner reveals to us an incredibly fruity taste on the palate, which is not least due to its residual sweet profile. Light-footed and multi-layered, this light white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Achkarrer Winzer Silvaner is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. The finale of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Baden, more precisely from Kaiserstuhl, finally thrills with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by loess and clay.
Vinification of the Achkarrer Winzer Silvaner by Winzergenossenschaft Achkarren
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Silvaner. Only the best grape material was used for this exceptionally elegant single-varietal wine from Winzergenossenschaft Achkarren. In Baden, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of loam and loess. The grapes for this white wine from Germany, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested particularly quickly and preferably in the morning to preserve their aroma. After the manual harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully milled. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.
