Vinification of the Winzergenossenschaft Achkarren Achkarrer Winzer Glücksgriff White Wine Cuvée
This balanced white wine from Germany is made from the grape varieties Müller-Thurgau and Pinot Blanc. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Baden. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of loess and volcanic rock. At the time of optimal ripeness, the grapes for the Achkarrer Winzer Glücksgriff Weißwein Cuvée are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and hardly selective full harvesters. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Achkarrer Winzer Glücksgriff White Wine Cuvée can further harmonize for several months on the fine lees.
