Vinification of the winegrowers' cooperative Achkarren Achkarrer Schlossberg Ruländer Auslese

This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Pinot Gris. Only the best grapes were used for this wonderfully elegant single-varietal wine from Winzergenossenschaft Achkarren. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Baden. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of volcanic rock. The grapes for this white wine from Germany are harvested exclusively by hand when perfectly ripe. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Achkarrer Schlossberg Ruländer Auslese is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
